The Spouts: A Micro-Setting for Planet FIST

A never ending war factory, stuck on full. The paperclip machines of death. The Spouts are a failed experimental factory built by the Tyrat Council to produce infinite, ever improving war apparel.  Almost immediately the system broke down and now produces mostly-defective materiel in an infinite cycle of manufacture, recycle, repeat. The piles rise nearly as high as The Spouts, the tops of the vertical assembly lines where materiel is ejected to fall down to the piles below. Automating everything from production to design means the factory and its algorithms produce a constantly-changing stream of material. The bizarre heaps of tanks, firearms, armor plating, and explosives all move relentlessly down to the recycling grinders, like a slow quicksand made of near-useless steel. Your handler has determined that The Spouts can be salvaged and made fit to serve; time to capture them and lead your faction to victory.

THE SPOUTS is a one-shot setting supplement for Planet FIST. Defective and 'enhanced' weapons created by a generative AI undergoing model collapse, new threats, and a detailed map to fit it all in. This is a resource for Planet FIST referees who want to run a humorous, chaotic one-shot in a setting that matches. Includes:
